LAREDO, Texas, June 23 (Del Rio Online) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized 1,100.79 pounds of suspected methamphetamine at the World Trade Bridge in Laredo after stopping a commercial truck that was carrying a shipment listed as “polypropylene,” the agency said.

According to the agency, a CBP officer referred the 2013 D-13 Volvo for additional screening on Monday, June 15, 2026. After a canine inspection and a nonintrusive inspection system examination, officers found the suspected methamphetamine in the commodity.
