ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — Disneyland Resort in Anaheim reopened Tiana’s Bayou Adventure after a 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle and slid down the attraction’s final drop, an incident that prompted a same-day shutdown and a state inspection.

Disneyland officials said cast members stopped the ride after the boy got out of the vehicle. The boy was taken to a local hospital for evaluation as a precaution and later released.

California Division of Occupational Safety and Health, or Cal/OSHA, inspected the attraction after the incident. Spokesperson Katherine Wzorek said inspectors did not find any operational issues.

The ride remained closed for the rest of Sunday before returning to service after the review, giving visitors a quick return to one of Disneyland Resort’s headline attractions.
